Alex and Grace started out as coworkers. Grace was in her first year as a school counselor and Alex was starting his second year at WBL as the business teacher. Alex thought Grace was married and Grace thought Alex was extremely uninterested in her.

Grace still remembers on her very first day at WBL, our Principal was talking about Alex and how wonderful he was. Now this interaction feels like it was meant to be.

Our love story started when we were both set to attend a conference for school that July. Our coworker, Libby, invited Alex to join her and Grace for lunch. Long story short, Alex left saying he would marry Grace one day and Grace left thinking Alex was funny (Grace was playing it cool for once in her life). The next day, Grace asked for Alex's number and even though he gave her Pizza Hut's number at first, that some how won her over.

We have talked almost everyday since that July day.

Our relationship grew fast and steady.

Grace knew early on that Alex was the one. She always wanted to be around him and he showed her what it meant to be loved for who she was. Alex calls Grace his calm, keeping him grounded and secure when everything around us isn't.

Alex kept his promise that he would marry Grace when he got down on one knee on the coldest day of the year in Two Harbors and asked Grace to marry him.
